Our Philosophy

At St. John’s Preschool we believe that children’s growth is achieved by offering opportunities for individual growth, development, and problem-solving through hands-on play and activities. In a Christian setting we provide rich, educational experiences with an emphasis on your child’s intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.

Our Staff

The teachers and staff at St. John’s Preschool are experienced and educated in Early Childhood Education and Development. Our staff meets all licensing standards established by the Department of Children and Family Services. The dedication and preparation of our staff ensures our ability to educate your child to the highest of standards.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is presented through theme units in which teachers plan and organize developmentally appropriate early childhood activities. Hands-on learning centers are designed to promote cognitive, language, and physical development along with reading readiness skills.

Class Sizes

Class sizes are limited to 16 children, with each classroom having a qualified teacher and aide. This exceptional teacher/child ratio allows our staff to be very aware of your child’s development and gives us the opportunity to offer more individualized learning.

2 Days (T/Th)
8:30-11am - $150/month

3-5 Year Old Class

2 Days (M-F)
8:30-11am - $150/month

3 Days (M-F)
8:30-11am - $200/month

4 Days (M-F)
8:30-11am - $230/month

5 Days (M-F)
8:30-11am - $275/month

Parent-Teacher Communication

St. John’s Preschool believes that OPEN communication between school and parents is the key to giving your child a positive school experience. We intend to keep communication open through school newsletters. Parents are always welcomed to reach out to their child’s teacher with any questions or concerns.

Parent/Teacher conferences are held once during the course of the school year for the 3–5-year-old classes.

We also offer field trips to provide families with an opportunity to take part in the learning process.

Registration Info

Registration for classes is on a first-come first served basis; however, current students and families along with alumni may register early. There is a $50.00 NONREFUNDABLE registration fee.
